lyrics
Ten thousand years we wander the earth.
Through the blood and the dirt.
Witches and priests (philosophers and prophets)
under the signs of eagles (and whyrms).
Drawn to the light. Like moths to the moon.
Noble but depraved we circle and die. Israel!
You feel it, the need to the bone. The guilt that grinds you.
The hunger of the flesh.
Hate and pride are my brothers. Hunger and need is my sister.
It is our mothers voice that calls us forth.
To hunt,
to kill.
Through the blood and the dirt.
Those brave few moments I feel my spirit set free.
The quest goes on in the midst of death and decay.
In the puddle of shit and piss the most amazing flower grows.
I cower in awe.
Ten thousand years we have sought you out.
We have bled , fought and slaughtered in your name.
Where are you now our father in heaven?
The eyes behind the blindness. Isreal.
The sun in our eyes we stumble and fall.

Swirling guitars, furious drums, vocals that at the same time howl from infinite distance and are right up in your head; everything put into dissonant form with the help of unconventional songwriting. This album is my personal key to the icelanding black metal madness that I've ignored for way too long! Lukas Kaufmann

Melodic, almost pagan black metal out of Iceland with some of the most aggressive vocals I've heard in the genre. It's balls to the walls from the first note with few respites, but its melodic enough to not overstay its welcome. Jeff Wilson
A foreboding black-doom metal dirge, meditating on a dark world caked in ash, resulting from all the Earth’s nuclear arsenal detonating at once. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jun 14, 2018
